On June 1–5, 2026, within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ KA1 international mobility program, Yurii SHABELNYK, Associate Professor at the EZPF Department and Deputy Dean for Research at the ELIT Faculty of SSU, visited the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (MTF STU).
In the Laboratory of the Faculty of Materials Science, he conducted scientific research and held meetings with Roman MORAVČÍK, Director of the Institute of Materials Science, Libor ĎURIŠKA, Deputy Dean of the Institute of Materials Science for Strategic Projects and Mobility, and Martin SAHUL, Project Manager.
Directions for further cooperation in the fields of micro- and nanomaterials science, as well as modern methods for studying functional materials, were discussed. The visit created a space for deepening mutual contacts and opened new opportunities for joint scientific, educational, and international activities between MTF STU and Sumy State University.
